The Shennongjia Natural Cosmetic Ingredient Research Institute is a privately-run non-profit research institute officially registered under the supervision of the Shennongjia Forestry District Science and Technology Bureau of Hubei Province (Registration No.: 52429021MJJ1785157). The institute is dedicated to the research of rare and characteristic cosmetic ingredients native to Shennongjia, including studies on ecological cultivation, extraction technologies, ingredient R&D testing, and efficacy applications. It also supports industry-academia-research collaborations. For partner brands, it offers customized services such as ingredient IP development, rare plant cultivation and traceability, new ingredient registration, intellectual property customization, proprietary technologies, and expert and doctoral endorsements. The team has made significant breakthroughs in the application of Shennongjia’s rare and endemic plant species. To date, we have successfully developed seven highly efficacious and commercially scalable extracts and compound raw materials. Among them, Shennong Chrysanthemum Extract has been officially registered as a national new cosmetic ingredient.
